Alamance Arts

Alamance Arts hosted their 2014 Low Country Bash at The Alliance Convention Center this year. What an incredible space for a large event! We were able to host 380 for dinner, have space to set up fourteen silent auction tables, two bars, an oyster shucking station, dinner buffet, dance floor and use their fabulous stage for our band. The acoustics were perfect for all types of music, the lead vocalist, and auctioneer as well. Special effect lighting set the mood and a revolving slide show ran all evening on the large overhead screens. Lina and her staff are amazing! They were so knowledgeable and helpful to make sure that everything ran seamlessly, not to mention how delightful they are to work with. Their experience hosting large events was invaluable in helping us plan and succeed in having a very successful fundraiser. The Alliance Convention Center is the perfect venue for our Low Country Bash and we have already booked it for next year!

The Coastal Conservation Association

“The Coastal Conservation Association relocated its annual banquet to the Alliance Convention Center in May, 2014.  Our move was necessitated by the need for a larger facility for our 350 guests. The ACC was very quick to show us what they would do for us and all aspects of our banquet. We discussed our contract needs and Lina worked hard to make it happen in a few short hours.

Over a couple of days we worked with the ACC team to place the dining tables, the raffle, auction, silent auction, beer station, bar, and sponsor tables. The ACC team met with our caterers and design the proper space and setup to meet their needs. Their audio/visual team helped put together our video presentation of the auction items and our message.  Everyone we worked with met every request we had with enthusiasm and quick resolve. 

The Alliance Convention Center has by far the best facility and team in the county. CCA wishes the ACC its best and looks forward to our return next May.”

The Alamance Partnership for Children and the Alamance Alliance for Children and Families

 

The Alamance Partnership for Children and the Alamance Alliance for Children and Families used the Alliance Convention Center for The School Ready Child, an early childhood education summit.  We had over 120 local leaders, educators and community citizens attend and the Event Center was the perfect venue for this important gathering.  The staff was so accommodating and helpful and the media assistance we received for the slide shows and power point presentations was crucial to our success. We hope to go back to the Alliance Convention Center this spring with our second summit.

Little Pink Houses of Hope

 

Little Pink Houses of Hope has grown our annual Dancing with the Stars Gala Fundraiser and moved locations for the last 4 years. We were thrilled to be able to finally find our “home” at the Alliance Convention Center! The evening consisted of a dance competition, silent and live auction, dancing, and a buffet dinner with seated tables for 380. The venue allowed us to do what we have been dreaming of since we started the event- elevate it to a level of professional quality that the event deserves! We utilized all of the media options- including live streaming of the event online- which was a great way to reach out to all of our national supporters. Every step of the way Lina and her team made the process enjoyable and it felt like a true collaboration! We have already booked for next year!
